Written With Design Process

Here’s what you can expect when working with Written With Design…

Information

One of the most important steps I take to ensure Written With Design clients get next-level websites, emails, etc is to get all the information I need upfront.

This usually happens one of two ways. If you decide to work with me directly through Written With Design, we'll schedule a meeting so that we can discuss the deals of the project, budget, deadline, etc. If you're near where I live (Cedaredge, Colorado) we can have an in-person meeting, otherwise, we will be having a phone call or zoom meeting.

If you work with me through Fiverr or Legiit, you'll be given a list of questions that you'll fill out before submitting your order.

It's important that I know who your target audience is, what service or products you're offering, and what action you want the people reading your content or visiting your website to take. All of this will help me create next-level website content that will boost your search result rankings and bring in more customers.

Conversational Tone

When people visit your website, open an email, or read your content, they need to feel like another person is speaking to them from the other side of the computer screen. If a potential customer forms a positive connection with your business, the chances of them becoming regular customers are extremely high. That's what I take into consideration every time I start working on a project for one of my clients.

In my experience as a freelance copywriter, I've learned that the best way to build that connection is to write the way that people speak. Idioms, popular phrases, and slang are all part of engaging content. I also combined that with storytelling, humor, and other very effective forms of communication.

I pick and choose the best methods to use depending on what industry I'm working with. Some industries are more laid back, others require a lot of formality.

I take all those differences into account while working on the project. That way Written With Design clients get websites, content, and marketing material that are tailored to their specific needs.

SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is it critical factor in creating a successful website or online content. Most people don't look past the first page of search engine search results. That means your website needs to be ranking on that first page; preferably at the very top.

Written With Design creates websites and content that drives traffic to your website and boosts your search result ranking.

Delivery and Revisions

Even though I'm professional, I don't always get everything right. Once I finish a project, I send it to the client so that they can look it over and make sure it's what they want. If it needs to be tweaked a little, I'll make the revisions that they requested and then deliver it again.

So, does that sound like the kind of website, content, and marketing material your business needs? Contact me and we can start taking your business to the next level.

Can I Contact You Whenever I Need to Send You More Info?

Yes. Send me an email, text, LinkedIn message, etc and I will read and respond as soon as possible. My goal is to make the process fast and easy. Good communication makes that possible.

What SEO Tools Do You Use?

My main Search Engine Optimization tool for creating content is SEO Surfer. They have one of the best setups on the market and make it easier to write a web page or article that will rank well.

Do You Monitor the Content You Create?

No. Once you have accepted the content it belongs to you and I will not monitor its success, how people interact with it, etc. The one exception is if I’ve created a website for you and you’re paying my monthly “website management fee”.

Will You Write Blog Posts for the Websites You Create?

Yes. However, you will have to pay for each blog post I create for you just like my other clients. I write only one complementary blog post for each website (if they want a blog) that I create for Written With Design’s customers.

How Many Revisions Do You Offer?

I offer one free revision to my clients on freelancing platforms. I offer two revisions to my clients that work with me directly through the Written With Design website/social media. The only exception to this is if you request a revision that completely changes the topic or type of content, web page, email, etc. If that happens I will not change the overall topic or type that we agreed on before beginning the project.

How Do You Take Payment?

Paypal. This makes it easier for me and my customers. If you happen to live in or near Cedaredge Colorado or Delta County Colorado I can meet with you in person and take cash or a check. I do not take checks from clients outside of my local area.

When Do I Need to Pay You?

You will pay for everything upfront. The only exception is if I’m building a website for you. My website clients pay the first half upfront and then the final half when I have finished the website.
